The Cruzeros added to their growing collection of awards recently, winning the BCCMA Group of the Year award (for the fourth time now) as well as the Okanagan Music Award for Country Group of the Year.
Curtis Tulman has once again retained the Canadian Country Music Association's award for Special Instrumentalist of the Year for his harmonica playing. This year Curtis shares the award with banjo player Larry Good of the Good Brothers.
The band is back in the studio again, recording of their fourth album which is scheduled for release in 2008.
The Cruzeros returned from their second trip to Europe this year, headlining the May 5th Liberation Day Festival in Veendam, NL.
Accompanied by the Mayor and other dignitaries from Kelowna and two WWII veterans, the band performed to thousands at an outdoor concert, as well as a house concert for a Dutch radio host and an original music venue.
